Pasta Aglio e Olio

I first heard of this recipe while watching this Binging with Babish video. I immediately fell in love with the dish, it seemed simple and easy enough for a beginning cook such as myself. ¬†One lazy Friday afternoon¬†I tackled the challenge. This recipe is an excellent side dish or could easily stand alone as the “Main Event”. Without further ado.


1/2 Head of Garlic

1 Bunch of Parsley (Rinsed)

1/2 Cup of Excellent Olive Oil

1 Tsp Red Pepper Flakes

1/2 lb Linguine

1/2 Lemon Juice



Heavily Salt Large Pot of Water. Bring to Boil.

Cook Linguine until Al Dente.

Slice Garlic Thinly.

Pick Parsley. Chop Finely.

Add Olive Oil to Pan. Heat Until Shimmer.

Add Garlic Until Barely Toasted. Stir Constantly.

Add Red Pepper.

Remove from Flame.

Add Pasta (Drained).

Add Lemon Juice & Parsley.

Toss to Combine.


Serve & Enjoy.
